Andrej Hrovat is with the Department of Communication Systems at the Jožef Stefan Institute since 2004. He is also an assistant at the Jozef Stefan International Postgraduate School. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. in electrical engineering from University of Ljubljana in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He finished his Ph.D. at the Jozef Stefan International Postgraduate School in 2011. His Ph.D. research was in the field of radio signal propagation in special environments. He works on several projects connected with professional mobile communication systems, 2/3G, WiFi and WiMAX technologies, satellite and sensor networks. Research work is mainly oriented in the field of radio signal propagation.
